This is hilarious! Somebody should have told the admitting nurse that housewives are honorable professions. No hospital stuper moment for me so far but thks to your post, i'm going to be on the look-out.

Suzie:
Obviously, your mom knows what she's talking about.
Agnes:
They can be a hot bed, most certainly. I would never think of accusing you of plagiarism, my dear, and would love to hear your stuper tales of the hospital. The seeds of ideas can be found everywhere, especially in Counterfeit Humans.
mikster:
Glad you're back! Hope all is well with you once again and look forward to visiting your site. And yes, thank goodness someone was on the ball there!

Hospitals are a hot bed of stupers, aren't they? Well, they are in England, anyway, and I am sure it is down to overwork and low pay as opposed to training or the desire to help out. This post brought to mind my own many experiences of being in hospital which I would love to write about, but will leave it for a while now, for fear of you accusing me of plagiarism!

My mom refuses to go to the hospital, she said the nurses
come in every hour at night when you are asleep, and wake you up,
to give you medication to relax you. She said if "I have to
stay at the hospital I am going to put a "do not disturb"
sign at my door or find a way to lock it.

Wendy:
My goodness! Only sheer stupidity could be behind losing track of your mom.
Sarah:
Nothing worse than a hovering stuper!

I had trouble before in the hospital when I had my baby. I couldn't get the hang of breastfeeding right away, and this nurse hovered over me. She kept asking, "Have you fed him yet?" "Maybe you should think about formula." That stuper just wouldn't give me a chance!

My favorite hospital stuper moment was when the local hospital lost my mother. She'd been in the same room for a week, and the day before she'd been put under quarantine (because the doctor somehow misdiagnosed her after she'd already been in the hospital for five days, but this isn't about that transgression). I called the front desk the day after the quarantine incident and was informed that not only was my mother no longer in the room, the hospital had no record of her ever being admitted. My imagination went crazy; I figured she'd probably contracted some horrible pandemic virus, and her who history had been erased in a giant government cover-up. Fortunately, the doctors realized that instead of having a horrible virus that required her being quarantined, she was actually better and was at home, recovering from her hospital stay. The fact that she was also smoking around her oxygen tanks proved that even my mom has some stuper moments.
