A web site I've relied on is www.screenit.com ... they tell you everything, and I mean everything, that is in a movie ... down to the last cuss word and salacious scene and even the movie's overall message. It's been so helpful. And you are right: kids should be acquainted with the classics. Our four grew up on films from the "Golden Age of Hollywood" (they can quote "Singin' in the Rain" almost verbatim) and although we assiduously scout out new titles decent enough for us all to watch, most of our favorites were released pre-1950!
