This sort of reminds of Luanne Rice’s Beach Girls. Lighthearted, funny, warm, and everything a beach read should be.

I would love to visit Sullivan’s Island one day. Did you ever see the Nick Nolte movie, ‘The Prince of Tides’? It takes place on Sullivan’s Island. Sounds like a good book for exactly what you described, thanks for the recommendation.

Sounds great! This seems like a book that a mom can read while keeping one eye on the kids. I love books that take place in the South!
