Didn't they lose 3 days of pay a month due to the CA budget crisis? From what I've read the furlough will continue which amounts to around 15% pay cut. That's pretty hefty on a person who does not make much to begin with. However, it does not justify doing something stupid like that and endangering the lives of others.
