		<description>A news anchor said it on HLN last night... "oh thank gosh he was okay!" 

There is a difference between thanking God and taking his name in vain.  I'm pretty sure gratitude is still okay. 

There was a time when even stupid people knew this.  Sigh.  So many people to retrain, so little time... : )

"Thank Gosh" is a common enough phrase and for all we know there may even be a sect of Gosh worshippers out there.
